2 Abbey Street, Auckland Central

Located at the Ponsonby/Grey Lynn end of K’Rd—easily accessible from the motorway (Newton).

🚗 Parking

Wilson Parking next to the venue (paid).
Plenty of free on-street parking after 6 PM & all day on Sunday and public holidays.

♿ Access & Amenities

Venue located on first floor. Accessible through staircase (no elevator).
Main entry on Abbey St + emergency exit on K’Rd side.
Two toilets.
Raised stage for performances.
Kitchen & non-alcoholic bar.
Temporary alcohol license can be arranged.

🛋 Indoor Space

200sqm of polished wooden floors, flooded with natural light & fully air-conditioned.
50sqm covered outdoor space - perfect for socializing or smoking areas (usage to be discussed individually)
Smaller spaces available for intimate gatherings.

👥 Capacity

40 guests (yoga mats/movement).
100 guests (seated).
250 guests (standing – requires additional portable restrooms).

✅ Mackie Soundsystem (subwoofer + 2 speakers) and 16-Channel ProFX Mixer

✅ Premium OPUS Sound System + Pioneer DJ Mixer 🎧

✅ Assorted lights, microphones, and staging options

📜 Hire Rates

All prices exclude GST.

🎟 Includes tables, up to 30 chairs, 20 yoga mats, couches, cushions, kitchen use, 100-inch screen & PA system for presentations.

📅 Weekday Sessions:

$50/hr (for smaller events in the lounge)
